More than a species list

We do not simply offer an ecoacoustic software service, where AI-led automations analyse sound recordings to provide a list of species. We instead combine our deep understanding of advanced acoustic analysis techniques with our ecological expertise. A species list is of little use without the ecological expertise to be able to answer the question “so what?” With our combined skills and experience we can use these cutting-edge technologies as valuable tools for ecology and nature conservation, by delivering assessments that are not only robust, but also contextually relevant to the ecosystems being studied.

Acoustic Indicators

Ecological Significance

Our team includes highly experienced ornithologists, licensed bat workers and in-house entomologists, who have dedicated years to analysing and verifying acoustic data. Our expertise goes beyond interpretation; we understand how to link acoustic indicators to broader ecological functions, such as conservation status assessments and management practices. This unique perspective means that our insights can help drive ecologically impactful outcomes.

Automated Analysis

Quality Assurance

Accuracy is paramount and we recognise that automated analysis alone is not enough. That’s why we prioritise manual Quality Assurance checks to validate the results of all our acoustic surveys. Our experts meticulously review the data to confirm species identifications and assess their ecological significance so that our findings can have practical applications. This critical step differentiates us from some other services, and by not relying solely on automated processes, our clients can be confident in our findings.
