Ecology site supervision, as required, throughout the construction phase

Construction/Ecological clerk of works

Site supervision for demolition or construction

When site work begins ecology supervision may be required to oversee demolition, groundworks, and discharge any planning conditions. As well as the translocation of habitat or species prior to first action on site, ecologists may need to be present when removing roofs that may have bats present, excluding badgers, excavating habitat for reptiles or pruning trees or hedgerows after the bird nesting season. These species and habitats have legal protections that require qualified and often licensed consultants to be involved.
