Skye is a graduate of the University of Nottingham with a degree in Environmental Biology, and brings four years of experience in a wide range of protected species surveys. She has worked on Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments across the defence, residential and infrastructure sectors. With a keen eye for botanical identification, Skye also volunteers with her local dormouse group, demonstrating her passion for conservation.
She holds survey class licences for great crested newts and hazel dormice, and is highly experienced in conducting surveys for a variety of protected species.
“I’m excited to be joining such a knowledgeable team with a diverse range of specialist skills,” says Skye. “I’m particularly looking forward to learning more about the innovative technologies being developed at Baker Consultants, including the ongoing bioacoustics work.”
