The CIEEM Survey Protocols for Bioacoustics Monitoring and Surveying of Birds webinar will be hosted by Carlos on 9 June at 12pm-1:30pm. Carlos’ presentation will explore the developing survey protocols that can be applied for use with bird species or wider ecosystem recordings.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Carlos has developed highly specialised skills in using bioacoustics for bird surveys and has been highly commended for his research on using acoustic recordings for bird monitoring, which has helped to make surveying more cost effective and scientifically robust. Carlos’ work in this area has seen him win Baker Consultants an Innovation Award in the CIEEM 2020 Awards.
