Baker Consultants’ Managing Director and Director of Bioacoustics, Andrew Baker and Carlos Abrahams, will be contributing to the Innovation Hub at Moët Hennessy’s first edition of the World Living Soils Forum.

The event will be hosted in Arles-en-Provence on 1-2 June 2022, and aims to highlight effective solutions to the conservation and regeneration of soils in viticulture and agriculture. The World Living Soils Forum will be an open and participative forum where scientists, researchers, professionals in the wine industry and various other experts from around the world will come together to exchange their knowledge and discuss the preservation of biodiversity, tackling climate change and minimising water consumption.

Moët Hennessy have been actively involved in Living Soils Living Together, an environmental and social program that provides winegrowers and farmers with training in new technologies so they can support scientific and academic projects that aim to tackle climate change, and have also developed a research centre dedicated to the development of viticultural practices in Champagne.
